The six storey building in the outskirts of Kakamega town was designed in 2019 and its construction is ongoing. The fully fledged hospital has outpatient, inpatient, maternity, operating theatres, dialysis, ICU, administration and other support facilities. The design on a quarter of an acre is compact but very functional ensuring proper patient floor, infection control and proper work flow. It incorporates modern services such as provision of oxygen points in every bed, nurse call system, audio visual (public address system), CCTV ,solar power and lighting.
